If you haven’t seen this movie, you must! Bridesmaids is one of the most hilarious films I’ve ever seen. To me it was the best comedy of 2011. Not only does it make you laugh out loud the whole time but it will also make you love the cast.
All the ladies are incredible! Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph have the best chemistry. They play best friends, and watching them will immediately make you think of your best friend. Melissa McCarthy definitely stands out too! It’s hard to pick a favorite.
A couple weeks ago I got the chance to attend a special screening followed by a Q&A session. Director Paul Feig, writer Annie Mumolo and producer Judd Apatow were there. From the cast, the ladies that attended were, Elli Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Maya Rudolph! Yes, Maya was there and it was awesome!
Watching the film for a second time was even better than the first time. I absolutely loved it. To me it’s one of those films that will put you in the greatest mood no matter what you are going through. If you haven’t seen it, rent it! Make it a movie night with some friends, get the popcorn ready and enjoy!
Have you seen Bridesmaids? Did you love it too? What was your favorite film from last year?
Hope you smile!

50 first Dates is another film I can watch over and over again. I love Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore together. Their chemistry on screen is great. I’ve never been to Hawaii and this film makes me want to get on a plane right now.
I love Drew’s character’s laid back style. Even the soundtrack is pretty awesome… where you can find this cute song!
I love the fact that Drew’s character makes waffle houses from her waffles. I have yet to try that.
This little guy stole the show. I definitely recommend watching this film when you need to laugh a little or simply feel like watching a good romantic comedy.

This film is one of those that whenever it’s on TV, I end up watching the entire thing. The humor and jokes don’t get old to me. It’s a great adaptation of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” play. “10 Things I Hate About You” was released back in ’99 and was directed by Gil Junger. Starring Heath Ledger (RIP), Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Larisa Oleynik. A very young Joseph Gordon-Levitt I should say (who is one of my favorites too).
To me this film is one of those high school comedies that set the tone for all of the rest that came out years later. It definitely stands out, and like I said before, I can watch it over and over again.
As I write this post I keep singing this song in my head. Best scene ever.
Who doesn’t love and remember the scene with the poem?.
Julia Stiles rocked her part. Heath Ledger was very cool, funny and great in his part too. Still can’t believe he’s gone, too sad. I might have to go watch this movie now! Here are some things that could take you back to 1999, inspired by Julia Stiles’ character “Kat”.
1. Ribbed Knit Basic Top $5.90
2. 10th year Anniversary Edition Blu-ray $11.49
3. Linen Cargo Pants $24.80
4. BDG Grazer High-Rise Jean $58.00
5. Women’s Classic Metallic Flip-Flop $3.50
