After years of visiting this beautiful city, it took us moving here to finally visit the inside of the Capitol! During one of our very first visits to Madison, the Capitol was one of the first things that really stole my heart. There is just something magical about it. Stepping foot inside was pretty breathtaking. I honestly can’t believe it took me this long. Funny story, as we went in my camera battery died so I was stuck with taking iPhone pics, not the best but not too bad either. Beautiful photos of an amazing place! Next time, you’ll have to go up to the balcony! You can get a great view of the rotunda below (and you’re surrounded by plexiglass, so not so scary!)
