This past Monday was definitely one of the most fun days I’ve had since moving to the Midwest. I took a drive out to Devil’s Lake State Park with some of my favorite ladies on this planet (no joke) with simply one thing on our agenda: have a good freaking time! It was my very first visit to the park and I simply cannot wait to go back in the Spring and Summer. I took my frozen lake walking to the next level by walking on a frozen beach! HA! It still feels pretty surreal every time I take a couple of steps on any kind of frozen water, the magic side of it is always present. While driving around the park, everywhere you looked was breathtaking. Wisconsin, you never cease to amaze me! Have you been to this great state park? Which state park is your fave?
Ahhhh! The pictures are so pretty! Of course, this is one of my favorite parks. BUT, you will have to take some time this summer to have the Mr. take you camping in Door County. It\\\’s beautiful there, and the cherries are to die for! Two words – cherry wine. \\\’Nough said. Mic drop.
Devils Lake is my favorite park. If you enjoyed walking on the frozen water, take a pair of snow shoes out into the camp grounds. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and lots of animal tracks to research. Beautiful all four seasons.
